Removing the front wheel
So let’s start by removing the front wheel by unscrewing the two nuts on the left and right using a 19mm wrench.
Here, we can retrieve the two washers. There’s a small one on the disc side and a larger one on the other side.
Removing the brake disc
Now, we will remove the brake disc by unscrewing the 6 screws using a 3mm Allen wrench.
Make sure there is no air left in the tire by pressing the inside of the inner tube’s valve.
Splitting the rim in two
Now, we can split the rim in two by unscrewing the 6 screws on the rim using a 5mm Allen wrench.
To easily unscrew these screws, hold the nut on the other side in place with your finger.
After separating our rim in two, we can remove our old inner tube.
⚠️ Make sure to thoroughly check the inside of our tire for any nails or debris.
Installing the new inner tube
And install our new slightly inflated inner tube inside.

Closing the rim
Now, we can install the first part of the rim by inserting the valve into the hole.
And install the other part in the middle of the tire before closing it.
So, place the nut into its housing and hold it with your finger. Then, tighten the assembly.
Reinstalling the brake disc
Now, we reinstall the brake disc on the front wheel, making sure to pay attention to its rotation direction.
There’s no arrow on the disc indicating the direction, so you need to mount it with the disc’s pins pointing downward, as if they were going to touch the road.
Installing the repaired front wheel on the fork
Next, we put the small washer on the disc side and the large washer on the opposite side.
We reinstall our wheel onto the fork.
Tire pressure and inflation for Wispeed
Finally, we need to inflate the repaired tire of our Wispeed between 2.4 and 3.1 bars.
