Step 1: Deflate Your Tire
⚠️ Never remove a valve core under pressure.
Fully deflate the tire by pressing a thin object into the center pin of the valve to release any remaining air.

Step 2: Insert the Valve Core Remover
Look inside the Schrader valve: you’ll see a small brass pin with two notches. That’s the valve core.
Insert the slotted end of the valve core remover into those notches.

Step 3: Unscrew the Valve Core
Turn counterclockwise to unscrew it.
You’ll feel a bit of resistance at first, then the core should loosen easily.

🔄 To reinstall the core:
Place the valve core back into the valve body and screw it in with the tool. Don’t overtighten. A gentle turn is enough to ensure an airtight seal.

How to Remove a Schrader Valve Core Without a Tool
Yes, it’s possible! You just need a small item with two prongs or notches to grip the valve core and twist it gently.
Here are a few common household items that can work:
- Tweezers

- A large paperclip bent into a U-shape

Why Remove a Schrader Valve Core?
- Boost airflow when inflating a tubeless tire to help seat the bead against the rim.
