Step by step guide to replace the front wheel of the SpeedTrott RS1600+
Start by cutting the three small black cable ties to release the motor cable and headlight cable.
Remove the first nut of the front wheel using an 18mm wrench. Then unscrew the screw that holds the washer using an Allen wrench.
Remove the second nut and washer from the other side of your wheel. Remember to hold the wheel from below when removing the second washer.
Unscrew the 6 screws of the rim using a 4mm Allen wrench.
Remember to completely deflate your inner tube before removing these 6 screws.
Grab the tire and remove it by simply pulling it straight up.
Install your new inner tube with a 90° angled valve inside your new tire. The valve of the inner tube should point to the side of the tire with the red line. This way, you are sure not to mount your tire upside down.
Slightly inflate the inner tube so that it fits properly inside the tire.
Install the assembly on the motor and remember to deflate your inner tube before tightening the rim with the 6 screws.
Inflate your new tire.
The recommended pressure for a SpeedTrott RS1600+ is between 2.75 and 3.45 bars.
PRO TIP: Use a valve extension to easily connect your pump or compressor to the valve. Valve Extension with Check Valve
Position your repaired wheel on the fork and tighten the two washers and two nuts.
Put the headlight cable back into the sheath and secure the motor cable on your electric scooter with three new zip ties.
Congratulations !! You have successfully changed the front tire of your SpeedTrott RS1600+ !
